Needle and seat may need replaced.  What is the condition of the float?

Definitely a needle and seat  and float problem. Pull the carb and give it an overhaul. Make sure you have a brass float. Depending on what the needle is made out of Gasohol will affect the operation too.

Make sure the new needle has a rubber tip.    MACK

Before you go into the Carburetor check the vent in the gas cap. Just run it slightly loose. Just might be an easy fix.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY
