The harmonic balancer on our L2 (426) is going bad. (The outside part has slipped on the inside piece.) I thought I remembered seeing some place that would rebuild them but I can't seem to find it. Anyone know?

This is where I sent mine off an L2. It was right around $200 to do the pulley I sent. I have no complaints and would use him again. Took a little over a week including shipping.
The combine where the balancer went bad had been running hot, and I had hoped that maybe the pulley had been slipping before I knew it, and it would run cooler now, not the case, so I need to keep looking there....

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully we'll finish up the fescue and wheat this week and I'll get it off and send it to them.

better replace it now, the one on my L2 kicked off last fall while shelling corn. when that goes the combine just stops. I didn't have time to send it off to get it fixed right and there is none to be found in any salvage yards within a few hundred miles. I just used a harmonic balancer off a 7045 and it works fine

What were the symptoms of it slipping? Just curious because I have always been paranoid about the one on the 210 slipping.

I had the injection pump rebuilt and the timing marks weren't even close to being lined up when I went to remove the pump.
