Except for the obvious creature comforts, which does a better job? The K2 thresher is different, correct?   Always could get a far better sample out of my K vs the M I had. Was likely me though. ..lol! Thanks.

20,000+ K's were built(1969-1976). They had two air fans, shorter sieve/Chaffer, & only GM250 6cyl gas engine.
1000? K2 built in 1977 (short backs). They had one newer incline fan, same K sieve/Chaffer, & newer electronIc ignition Gm250 6 cyl gas engine. No grain tank extensions or hydraulic unloader.
2000? K2 built in 1978-1981 ( long backs). They had an 18" longer sieve/Chaffer, grain tank extensions, hyd unloader, & optional AC 433T Diesel engine.

I had a k and k2 and f2 You will like the k2  over the k2 hydraulic unloading auger good machine producing a clean sample our f2 was the 4 cylinder diesel big machine compare to the k2
Presently we replaced the f2 with a R40  will find out what it is like in wheat this summer
