I have an opportunity to buy an Allis c. The owner has not used it since last fall. It needs some work. Needs an alternator, fenders, seat, and a few nickle/dime items. Says he wants $300 dollars for it. I am pretty sure it is a good price but I have not seen it myself.

Question is what is a set of fenders worth and how hard are they to come buy? Would new fenders be the the way to go or can I find used ones easy enough?

How about seat? Last one I got was through my local dealer and it cost right at $70. Any parts people on here have seats that are more pocket friendly?

If that where offered to me, I would be down the road with it before the seller could change his mind.  Fenders can be made or ignored.  Junkyard GM alternator, random parts pile seat or new universal fit at TSC for $49.99. It dont have to be purty to be valuable.

Are the fenders missing or just rusted. I be there to get it before some one else does. Seat is just a piece of plywood, foam and Naugahyde. All my tractors have free junk yard alternators on them. Rusted fenders can be welded real easy the original fenders are heavy enough you can beat them with a hammer and weld them up. The little C is my favorite tractor. It's the only tractor at my house that no longer has a job but I keep it anyway.

Fenders are not that hard to come by. I have a few sets that I will sell. Send me a PM if you need a set. Thanks Matt

Actually, it should be in YOUR driveway right now. I wouldn't hesitate to grab it. Fenders are plentiful for the B's n' C's. There always on e-bay all the time at reasonable prices. The pieces that are needed for that Tractor are the easy part... Good Luck! Hope you get it!

I think I will be hooking up to the car trailer tomorow night and taking a trip to go get it. Thanks guys. I figured the price was good I just want some idea what fenders would set me back. It as it sits has no fenders at all I guess. All the info I have is through a good friend who knows this guy.
