Hello!! New to the site! Subscribed to forum looking for a possible year this tractor was built and to learn from others about it, I believe it's a i60 due to serial number being ( I60-15330-r). That is what is stamped on engine, it has a loader and backhoe, I'm going to buy it from my neighbor if I can get it running!! Carb needs rebuilt, float isn't floating any longer I believe due to gas coming out of air intake when I turn gas on,, owner is letting me work on it to get it to run before I buy it, he said 800 and it's mine if I choose to buy it, from the limited info I can find online, seems to be a deal of the day for me! So I'm gonna try and get her to fire and then I'll let us know how it goes!!
Btw, it ran two years ago before being parked in barn, but she doesn't wanna fire for me jst yet! Still trying though! I think points are out of spec and I know carb is all gummed up and float is bad, I soldered it and put rebuild kit in it, I'm going to try tomorrow to get her running! Thanks for looking and reading ! I'll try and post a pic if I can! So my question is 800 a good deal? I'm thinking so!?!?

$800 is a deal. that is an I 60, parts will interchange with a D-15(early, or series 1).  Was it originally set up for a b-hoe?  Is there a shuttle shift lever, on the left side?

I would give that for it not running! If you don't want it let us know.

The I 60 is based on the D-15 Series II tractor and will be a 1964 +. It will have the 160 gas engine.  I had one from 1974-1977 when I traded for an A-C 715 TLB.

Calvin, you are right, it's the I40 that has the 149 engine.  I get the 2 mixed up, sometimes.  The number change from 40 to 400, and from 60 to 600, was just a decal...(well maybe a few minor changes, but not the motors...)

So I got it running today! Replaces plugs cap rotor and rebuilt carb, after all that, it started after only about 4 turns of the motor to my surprise! Hydros seemed to work ok, but I think it might have been low on fluid, not sure how to check level of fluid, owners son says reservoir is actually inside frame tubes, so I took off cap there and it looked low? But idk what is right level? Anyone know? But like I said she fired right up! I rebuilt carb due to float not floating, soldered hole, but carb is still flowing gas out of air intake, but only when tractor isn't running? While running it's not leaking out, I'm thinking I'm buying it, gotta build a lean to on barn now to store it, so it's still at neighbors for now

It has the backhoe, it works ok, has a rotary cyl. On it for swing , swings has a lot of drift to it from side to side but it seemed to get better as the fluid warmed up a little, again it also seemed like fluid is low so maybe that had something to do with it too!

I would have trouble passing up a deal like that even though I am 75 and my wife would say that I am too old to start playing with toys like that. I paid for my university education years ago operating a TLB during the summer months.

Can anyone help me to find a owners manual for this I60 backhoe, I need to know the fluid levels and what kind of hydraulic filter as well as how to time the engine? Thank you in advance!!

Engine timing should be a mark on the front pulley, and twist the distributor, just like in the d-15 manual.
