There is a series playing on Netflix titled Land Girls. In Season One, I think Episode 5, there was a brand new Allis Chalmers Model B, being wiped down by one of the Land Girls! Really cool, and unexpected to see a brand new "B" in England during World War II! ------------- You don't really have to be smart if you know who is! |

They had a show on RFD-TV a while back. The show was produced by some English company that sold the DVDs. I forget the name. The land girls worked the land whilst the men were off to war. |

Farmers were exempt from conscription in WWII because of the importance of growing food for Britain, which had to buy food from overseas.
