hello, I have a 38 allis b that has some oil coming out through the clutch inspection plate. I was speaking with my uncle about it and he seemed to think you may change that seal from on the crank side without splitting the tractor. I have never done either, and our repair manual is snowed in at the cabin. ? 1.what is the name /part number for said seal. ? 2. do you have to split the tractor to replace it. thanks for any help , Matt

You will have to split your tractor. remove clutch/ flywheel/ oil pan and seal retainer. You will need a cork rear main seal a seal retainer gasket and an oil pan gasket

You might also want to change the seal on the shaft going into the torque tube while you are at it.  I've seen those leak as well.
