We have about 12" with more coming down. Got the D12 out and cleared the driveway. Here is a short video. I had to put the chains on as it was getting slick. Keep it down there Charlie! LOL! We're supposed to get 1-3" round' here today into tomorrow. Was talking to my nephew down in MD, and he's supposed to get 8-12" today into tomorrow. Told him to keep it down there also! LOL! Well, its Wintertime. What are ya gonna do?....Shovel, Snow blow, and plow I guess!

Boys I was thinking about wherein shorts today it got up to 45* here today and most of the snow and ice is gone now. lol

we are dry out here, and will take any un-welcomed snow, so send it out here! :) We try to combat murphy's law by not hooking up the snowblower in preparation for a forcasted storm. its a little cat. 1 ford blower, and we have an old truck hood that we used in 06 to drag it over to hook it to the tractor. Hooked up blower= no snow un-hooked blower= snow just how it works! :) ------------- Gleaner: the properly engineered and built combine. If you need parts for your Gleaner, we are parting out A's through L2's, so we may be able to help. |

Got about 8" over the last 24 hours here, a lot more west of me in the hills. Might get a few more inches tonight and another storm on Wed/Thurs. Record amount of moisture and snow for Feb.

| Those HD X-bar chains I have would stand up on the treads. I've known people that had an extra set turf tires that they left the chains on and switched tires when they put the snowplow on. Half worn tractor tires also let the ladder bar chains work better. |

| I've got cows calving in all this mess. Melted some yesterday but still got several inches on ground. -16 here Fri. morning. I'm done with that!!! I work for Ky. Utilities and we worked Thursday morn til Friday evening non stop just keeping sub-stations going! |

One of parents neighbors called wanting their driveway cleared so I borrowed my dad's D15. I really enjoy that tractor. You can fix those chains so they work better. Just grab 2 cross chains and pull them together attaching them with another link. I got a set of those X chains on my JD 60. I think they called them field chains. They grip good, but be careful on the ice. They tend to "skate"! -3 here this morning. Some snow left, but only in the grass. Geez Charlie! Looks like you're hauling @ss with that D-15! ------------- I still gots my A/C but it's clear out in the barn now. |
