New to this forum and have a simple question.  Where can you find rebuild parts for a CA hand clutch?  I have read a lot of forums about how to  and some great pics but I have searched the internet and parts houses and can't seem to find anything.  I leave in North Carolina and the tractor is my grandfathers (one day will be mine) and he wants to weld it together to eliminate it altogether  but I want to fix the clutch right.  If you have any information please respond. Thank you.

Try Sandy Lake Implement, listed with the vendors on this site. I am sure they will have them. JB

Try an AGCO dealer, I have bought the clutch pads and rivets from there. I think they may also have the springs, seats and balls but if I remember right they were pricey. After you get it apart and find which parts you actually need you may find someone on this site that has a used clutch for parts also. Best of luck on the CA, they are great little tractors.

hyperz, where are you located in North Carolina?   Caldwell Co. here,  Tim.
P.S.  I have a 53 CA, that the hand clutch needs repairing when I get to it.

I have heard that you can eliminate the hand clutch completely by removing it and the 2 shorter axles, and replace them with another longer L/H axle.

Then if you ever get the hand clutch assembly repaired, you can reinstal it.

I have used parts available, also have a clutch disc ready to go, or can sell better quality facing kit than Agco's.

Thank you all for your information.  I am located in Stanly County North Carolina and Chris I sent you a PM.  We will need to get into the clutch to see what all parts that we may need.  I am sure I will be asking a lot of questions and I am really enjoying this forum full of good information.  ONE question is are there any Service manuals that are better than another that will give good repair information, the only thing we have is the original owners manual?

If you do get into your hand clutch there are three ears that hold it together.  When we did our first one it slipped even after we installed all new parts.  Therefore we ground 1/8" off of each ear.  Fixed it and when we did any after that we always ground 1/8".  Right or wrong it worked.
I would try Sandy Lake for parts.  I hear they are really good for AC parts.
Good Luck!
