Brother Jim came over this morning and popped the clutch while I towed him and the G fired right up. It hadn't run in a couple years according to the previous owner so I squirted some PB blaster in each cylinder, cleaned and gapped the plugs, changed points, condenser, and rotor. I removed the starter and found it to be stuck, cleaned the mouse nest out of the flywheel housing, cleaned the air breather and replaced the oil in it. After burning out the PB blaster it ran great. It has great oil pressure, clear up near the L on the gage. I'm still debating on how to work the starter. It's set up now for a push button on the steering support with a toggle on-off switch. I may just uncobble the solenoid set up and use it that way for now. She needs the engine oil changed and then I can start dreaming up a set up for a mower deck.
Will a G run a 59 inch mower if you don't try to mow tall grass?
Maybe I'd need a supercharger for that big a deck or run in granny gear.

Ctucker, that's just a great feeling, isn't it? I don't know how large a deck she'll run, but I do know that my G has all it can handle with the multivator that's mounted on there.

It will but you have to run in low gear. My lawn is too large for that. So, my Woods mower is for sale if you're interested. Asking $425. Fall Creek, WI 715-877-1420

I have a Woods L59 on the B right now, used to have it on the CA. The B came with a cobbled up mount system and a left hand mower deck that looks almost like the L59. I was just thinking of putting it on for the wife to play with since I told her it was her anniversary present. She won't mind runnin in low. I'll just have to figure out how to mount and power it.

I bought a G with a Woods 59" finish mower on it and took it off. Too much mower for the little feller. I have another G with a 42" Woods G42 on it and it works just fine. The G42 is a bush hog setup rather than the finish type.
