What type of grease or oil do you put in the front cast housing (wide front) on a WD-45?
When we pulled ours apart it was really runny.

Originally they had gear lube. Most of them won't seal well after so many years and a light corn head grease works fine. Grease the bearing like you do a wheel bearing and pump some in with a zerk. Good to go for years again.

I thought I was doing the right think putting gear oil in mine. After about a week, it had all leaked out (and made a wicked mess). I pumped in some synthetic grease from a grease gun (like Charlie said above) and it has worked well.
