I pulled the motor on my 45 and can't seem to find the correct bolts to bolt the front of the engine to the support. I have two 1/2" bolt left but the won't thread into the holes. I got two new 7/16" bolts and the feel like they might be too small. Does anyone remember what the correct size is?

!/2 inch diameter, coarse threads, about 1 inch to 1 1/4" long.

Loosen the motor mount bolts on the side channel, so you can line the holes up, then retighten the side bolts.  They are 1/2-13 threads.  Be sure to shim the front mount per the book, or you will put undue strain on the crankshaft.

Thanks guys, I thought for sure they were 1/2. I tried to slide a feeler gauge between the support and mount but even the smallest wouldn't slide between. I assumed this meant I didn't need to shim.
