          | I'm kind of thinking out loud here, but can't seem come up with a definite answer. Is there a snap coupler to 3 point adapter that will fit both a WD45 and a D17 Series 4. I want the style that allows the traction booster to work. I understand that I will probably have to fabricate my own top link brackets, but that should be no problem. -Thanks in advance.

          | Look up Tony's Tractors. A sponsor here. Check his web page. He sells them. As far as a unit that works on both a D17 and a '45 ... I can't vouch for that.

          | If the 17 is a Snap Couple tractor, Yes, there is one that will work on both tractors. If it's a 3 point, I guess you wouldn't need an adapter

          | Yes, the D17 would also be factory snap coupler equipped.| CTuckerNWIL wrote:

          | The factory type "Wishbone" Is the one that will do what you want. Easy on and off. AC even had toplink brackets for each tractor. |

          | I have the wishbone type.   Chains were holding up the arms so I purchased stabilizer bars and robbed the rest from my dad's 3 point hitch off his 17. They are exactly the same.

          | Does anyone know if there are any dealers in NW Ohio that carry the wishbone style hitches? I haven't gotten a quote from Tony yet, (Closed till Friday) but I would assume I will have $100 in shipping. I would like to save that money if possible, I can drive a long ways for $100. -Thanks

          | Tony can have one drop shipped from the manufacturer right to your front door. So the shipping with be the same as one from a dealer just down the street for your house.
 -------------
3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep.

          | Interesting, I guess that would mean Tony would be about the cheapest option. Thanks, Don.| Don(MO) wrote:

          | My biggest problem on my d 17 series 1 isthere top link is a plate that bolts under the seat and the piece that is wellded on the back of it to hold the top link bends and breaks especialy while bushhogging |

          | Tim, call Jim at OKTractor and get one of these. Then add a length of chain for the top link, so the back end cam come up if it needs to.

          | I think this would work for you.
You need to pull from the 'Snap Coupler' for the Traction Booster to work
