I'm trying to reline this little annoying clutch brake-shoe on my 6g. Can someone tell me the originial thickness of the lining or at least the service limits. Have most manuals but not the clutch....Thanks

Just for the sake of prosperity, I relined it with some 3/16" 2" brake lining bought on e bay. Used countersunk brass screws, with lock nuts behind them, to attach it, plus, I bedded the lining with epoxy just for good measure. Works fine..

Thank you for the info, I expect to be repairing the clutch brake on my Son-in-law's HD5G in the near future.
