Just put 4 tires on my 2015 Jeep Cherokee - 36,000 miles on original tires and noticed some cracks in tread face between grooves .
Pricing around for Jeep dealer to be cheapest as had buy 3 get 4th for $1-
Now most places run the by 3 get 4th free but their price was $1 mount and balance on 4th , $1 disposal fee on 4th - they came in $45 cheaper than chain tire stores I checked with and also cheaper than order online and then find someone to mount then .
free tire rotation for life of tire also included -
Have been having them do oil changes on coupons also but when they did tires I asked about oil change and service writer came up with $69 special - forget it .
Found a Chrysler coupon but said they would not honor it - day later I mentioned it in a follow up E- Mail they sent - Service Dept manager called me and said they would do oil change for the $29 coupon price and apologized for the not honoring the coupon from Chrysler ... so a trip back but all good now.
He mentioned the markup in tires is now a real cutthroat business as their cost keeps rising on tires and the margin on tire costs is slim with online large dealers controlling both price and availability .
