Now the less than scrupulous have turned to offers of Rewards, or Free Gifts, or Earned Refunds for Cell Phone services.  Currently have ATT, been receiving messages(I Will NOT answer) that state I have a refund due, or have a balance on account they need to refund.  I go to the ATT site not theirs and find NADA, ZIP ZILCH, just more phishing Scam attempts.  Number is never the same Area codes either, latest was from 929 NYC, previous was from Los Angeles(Long Beach) area.

I don’t know if it’s just a US Cellular thing or not, but I get a lot of them come up as “Potential Spam” on my caller ID. They say whenever you get a spammer calling to block them. Your phone uploads blocked numbers to your service provider and eventually after enough people block them, they get added to the “Potential Spammer” list.

Quite the joke there.

Let's count the flaws:
1: Spammer ain't going to listen to you AT ALL (so, guess my next to flaws are MOOT/ what if scenario)

2: Police aren't going to take any sort of enforcement action if they were called, got much better things to do. . .which brings up. . .

3: Great, send spam calls to the police, like they need to be busy with BS.

All so truly funny.

got them here too ---- got to the point that if we dont know the number---we dont answer. Problem with that is that you do miss a few important calls, so you lose anyway you go at it.

You think that’s bad? You should see what comes into my gmail account everyday! I didn’t know I was so wanted by oriental randy women. Where were these women when I was as in high school?
I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.
