Would any of these fit the D17 Series III/IV diesels?

No, the late D17 and D15 diesels have a 7x4" oval, these are 9x4.5".

Has there been enough interest to have the D17 Series III/IV diesel muffler made? Is there a minimum quantity they require?

Alex, could the hole in the hood be enlarged to accept a 170 or a 180 muffler?

Jason- yes there is a minimum order that I have to put through, so far only 3 guys have interest in those late D-series diesel mufflers.

JC- The hole could be enlarged, would be same hole size as gas D17 and D15 oval mufflers holes after enlargement. I could create a cutting template but a snag that I forsee is the late D15/D17 had a 2 1/4" OD pipe the muffler clamped to. None of the current mufflers available would match that without an adapter. The D15 oval clamps over a 1 5/8" pipe, the D17/170 gas a 1 7/8" pipe and the 180 a 2 3/8" pipe.

I thought the late D15/D17 diesels had a 2 3/8" OD pipe outlet the same as the 180/185. The Stanley AC-10 muffler I purchased has inlet ID of 2 3/8" which fit my tractor okay.

If that is true, the 185 muffler would drop right on after enlarging the hole in the hood. It would look pretty dang big for a D15 diesel though! The pipe is a 2" NPT nipple which could be 2 3/8" instead of 2 1/4", didn't have one in fron tof me at the time.
