I got:

Operating Instructions and Parts Illustrated, Model D17 Diesel Tractor. An AC Copy.

Allis Chalmers Shop Manual for D17 and D17 III.  It's an I&T but it's copyright 1963 so it's before they went to crap.

Allis Chalmers Shop Manual Models D14, D15, D15 II, D17, D17 III and D17 IV.  It's an I&T but it's copyright 1966 so it's before they went to crap.

The two I&T are original, not reprints or copies.

Yes Tim it is.  Got it at an auction over in Harmony MN.  LOVE it.  It's got a hydraulic pump on the front that gives me full hydraulics and a great bucket now.  Not a trip one!!  Outside of brakes, one leak and the genny isn't putting out anything....know a girl/wife like that.....it's in great shape.

I have bought several manuals from Farm Manuals Fast (Allis-Chalmers Tractor Manuals | Farm Manuals Fast}. D-17 manuals are on page 21.

These are electronic manuals and you have them (digitally) seconds after you pay for them. I downloaded them to a flash drive (actually made a copy, so I have two flash drives, in case something happens to one).

What I like about the electronic version is that I can print out whatever pages I am using and take them to the garage with me. Yesterday, I was working on the hydraulic pump of one of my D-17's, so I printed out three pages from the parts manual and took them with me. If I work on another one later on, I can reprint the pages again. I know you can make copies with a paper manual, but I always seem to end up getting them all grease, at some point.

If you wanted to, you could print the whole manual.

These are reprints of original AC manuals, not IT manuals.
