My best friends 160 started blowing antifreeze out the exhaust. After removing the head, it has cracks between the cylinder sleeves if I understood him correctly. He is wanting to find a good block or entire engine. He uses this tractor a lot and wants to get it repaired ASAP. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure the mounting  holes are same on block where frame to engine mounts bolt to block , different hole spacing will need those blocks to frame .,and the the fuel filter housing bolts on block .Over the years I have changed just blocks n complete engines n run into this .

Bit of a distance since most of the locations are central U.S.   All State Ag Parts has six listed in their salvage section.  Unknown is how long the tractors have been in the lot and if parts are already gone.  Used to have the date received so could tell if the salvage was fairly new.  Website: https://www.tractorpartsasap.com/

Thanks for the help guys, Gary got a confirmation this evening from a salvage yard in Pa that they have a good block. Confirmation by casting number on the block. Leaving at 4 am to get there when they open to pick it up.
