I have a set of AP46’s I’m buying rings for, getting the kit thru Hastings. Hastings lists 2 top rings and an oil ring in the kit. The M&W’s have 3 top rings, but I’ve heard of guys only using 2 anyhow cause in some people’s opinion the M&W’s used too many rings. Anything truth to this? I’d like to hear some of your thoughts.

Hastings sells individual rings so you can mix and match.. I would NOT leave a ring hole open.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.
