Went to the show Thursday and Friday. Had the email called up with my QR code brought up on my phone. We walked in never got our name tag, never checked in just started looking at show like in the old days. Not one vendor asked to scan my info matter of fact most took info the old fashion way with pen and paper with a few entering them manually in computer. Just like any other year if I didn’t want to interact with a vendor I just walked by.

Agco could have one an award for most tacky display with compact tractors one pallet racking.

We went Thursday and Friday also. We didn’t register we just rolled in and never had anyone ask us either. We were checking out disc mowers Kuhn and Krone wouldn’t talk to us but Vermeer did and gave me a hat and a $500 coupon so I am definitely checking into them now. Tar River and a company from Wilson NC took time to talk to us. I am just glad Agco left the Chinese tractors at home and brought the Brazil made ones. The gleaner was nice.

They told us when we got our nametags that next year it will be required to register and will have to have the badge to get into the expo halls next year.  Just passing along what they told me.

The S9 was a sight to see! Would love to have on in the driveway but without the price! ha. The only thing I was disappointed at AGCO for, on Saturday at least, you had to have a rep with you to get in the cabs. Don't know if it was like that all week but sorta made me mad.

Late Friday afternoon we climbed right in the cab. Maybe I ruined it. Lol

I imagine the badge deal will further develop. Gut says it will hurt the little guys the worst.   In the last 24 years I’ve gone 4 maybe 5 times. I took my son for his first time maybe as he gets older we will go more. It will be easier if he’s old enough I don’t have to watch him as close.

I left this year with the same attitude as always I’ll be back but not next year likely.

Yeah this was the first time back in about 3 or 4 years.  We don't go every year either. Time will tell how the whole registration thing goes.
