I am retiring today after 49 years with the same company. Not going to quit working just something different. Been around trucking fleets all of those 49 and going to work for my Son who run 26 OTR trucks.
Another chapter in the cycle of life begins.

Congratulations!  Take a few year off to enjoy the extended vacation.  Then decide what you want to do.  Don't you have tractors to fix and ride on?

I do have a D-15 that I have plans to work on and drive in some tractor rides. Also have several IHC pickups that need some attention as well. Need to keep working to keep the muscles limbered up and keep the mind working.

Enjoy your retirement and do what YOU want to do, just stay active so the mind and old body stays sharp. Forty nine years is a long time to be with one company.
Just an old country boy saved by the grace of God.

Yes stay active cause when you set around it's hard to get restarted. Congratulation on your retirement, and as said do enjoy yourself.
