Re sealing and gasketing my WC.  Whats the best product to use on the head gasket.  I've seen Indian Head shellac, copper coat, aluminum paint, etc, etc all suggested.  I see copper coat in a spray can or brush can.  Which is better?  Can I use those products on the other gaskets as well?

The shop manual may comment on that. I have it in pieces in the directory:

I use Hylomar gasket sealer. It's available from Amazon and several other sources.

may be a superstition, but I am a spray on copper coat guy.

I am confident that it at least won't hurt anything.  :)

I can't find Copper Coat spray locally, but I can get Permatex Copper Spray A Gasket.  I assume it's the same basic stuff?
