I was really looking forward to it this year, then I burned a piston on the puller. With thrashing to get it ready for what amounts to my home town pull, princeton friday night, it doesn't look like I'm going to make it to Rantoul.

Leaving Thursday morning from NC don’t know if we will make it to the show on Thursday but will be there Friday and Saturday. Is there anywhere at the show I can leave my trailer and side by side?

Randy, the unofficial forum meet time has always been around 11:00. Should be able to do that in the A C tent.

Red Bank,
There will be acres and acres of trailers parked in every direction. Most just leave their carts or side by sides by the trailers overnight. If you are not comfortable with that, see myself or Randy at the tent and we will help you out.

To the idiot that I caught last year in Pontiac scrapping paint to try to see the serial numbers. I own them and even though it is none of your business ASK and I will tell you what they are!!!!!!!!!!!!! We go to a lot of expense hauling tractors up for people to look at not to TOUCH and scratch the paint. Remember you will be in RANGE.

Somewhere it was posted that the 220 was a featured tractor by the AC club. I have a  220 fwa that I might bring. Does anyone know if they will  be parking the 220s in a group somewhere or just random display ?

We will try to keep them together. The problem is you can’t keep a person there 24hrs. and then someone will drop some tractors off and just park anywhere. Can’t blame them, just the way it is sometimes.

I went to the Half Century yesterday, Friday, with 3 friends.  Brought a 4 seat golf cart.  GREAT  SHOW!  Spent some time in the A-C tent.  Bought a hat from the Triple A Club (All About Allis).  Very nice, friendly people.  The A-C display was great.  Lots of orange tractors.  Plus some nice looking green and yellow tractors and garden tractors.  And a little tug.  Watched the plowing.  One tractor operator described the hardness of the ground as "like trying to plow an asphalt road".  2019 has certainly been a challenging year for all of us.  This is a show that everyone who loves old farm equipment should attend at least once!

I'm there now. Ground hard as hammered hell
Chunks plowing up as big as your head. You can jump up and down on them and you can't break them with your feet! Pulling the guts out of everything! Great show! Great weather. Should be on everyone's t"to do" list.
sometimes I walk out to my shop and look around and think "Who's the idiot that owns this place?"

Drove up Thursday from NC. Stayed in Danville and went to the show on Friday and Saturday. We were very impressed with the show. We knew it was going to be big but had no idea it was that big. Allis Chalmers was represented well and the 210 and 220s were awesome. Got to meet Cwhit at the tent and it was nice to meet you Chuck. Also bought some t shirts and stuff while I was there. The field demonstrations were nice and whoever owns the 6080 that was plowing it was hard not to make you an offer on the tractor lol. As stated above I highly recommend the show for someone’s bucket list.

Well, just got home. What a turn out! Thanks to everyone who stopped by the A C tent to say HI, shared a story or purchased hats or shirts. I think I must have talked to a thousand people. As an A C group, we were well represented. Just driving around the show I saw a lot of folks with A C apparel from past shows from different parts of the country. Got to visit with members from several other Allis clubs and brought home a lot of ideas that can be used for ours. And I can’t forget not to thank the kind folks from the Indiana Partners for sharing the space with us but the BIGGEST thanks goes to all the people that brought tractors and equipment to this place. Hope everyone has a safe trip home.

PS.   Don’t forget the GOTO at Union Grove . Should be an awesome event!

Chuck and Randy,
Thanks for all of your hard work and dedication to support Allis-Chalmers all four days of the show.  I'm glad we had beautiful weather each day.  Chuck, I'll try to make the AAA show in September.
Brian

P.S.  I'll try to post some pics in a new thread later today.

Chuck and Jodi and Randy as well as the ones whose names I don't remember did a SUPER job at the AC tent. Got to talk to a lot of ole friends and meet some new ones. Rodney and I had a great time and appreciate all the work you put in. Hauling bigger tractors to the show is a lot of work especially when I am not a spring chicken any more but it was well worth it. Chuck liked Rodney's truck and our tractors but he wasn't sure about the "DRIVER AND HIS CO PILOT" HA HA. I have several pics but always forget how to post them. THANKS from myself and from Rodney.  Jerry
