 Topic: Weight of a 190XP Stopler Cab

Good morning. I will be removing the cab off of the 190. I have limited head room and lifting choices. My old AC sales manual says: 200 tractor cab weighs 1705 # 190 tractor cab weighs 781 # 7030 tractor cab weighs 691 # 7050 tractor cab weighs 679 #. Why the difference between the 200 and the 190? Can I count on the weight being under 800 pounds? Ross.

Yes cab on a 200 is rated for roll over , that’s why the weight difference. the older ones are just death boxes we took an after market cab off the 200 hung it from a tree with a come along drove the tractor out and set the cab on the trailer and junk yard it went .... also took one off a 185 that was bolted together with 1/4 bolts

I used a tractor with a loader to pick mine up. I put a heavy oak board thru the door openings and then used a strap to the bucket. Didn't seem very heavy at all.

They are not much and i would bet not over 500# total including the blower fan motor left installed. I could not give mine away off a S3 so cut it off in pieces with a sawzall. Removed doors and cab glass, small strap through each door opening with a light sheave above before sawing the roof off and lowered to the shop floor by myself. A hot tin can that would have been much better with some type of insulation panels but better than nothing in winter for some. Hated that inward door bottom getting in and out!Bettin a few good strategically placed straps through the door and side window openings would be an easy lift if you are planning on once piece removal. The light "boxes" were made so the OEM fender lights could be installed so they can be moved back to the original fending mounting position if you choose to.

The two side windows when open just lift off. I put a strap through a t the back of the opening and just lifted it off. I used a manual Chain lift from the roof truss. It's an engineered steel structure designed for external loading the other end of the shop has a trolley mounted to the trusses with a 7000lb rating. I wouldn't lift from the trusses if they weren't designed for it. The cab with the window removed wieghts about 500 lbs. I lifted each side by hand to put blocks under it and screwed it to the trailer floor. Hauled it 500 miles without a problem. Mine is missing the complete fan assembly and wiper assembly so if your parting it out let me know.
