Wife gets a phone call on our landline .   Caller says "High Grandma".  Wife asks "What one of the four Grandsons  of mine are you? Caller replies " The oldest one".  "I got myself in a little bit of trouble Grandma". " I went to a friends wedding in New York and on the way back to motel after the reception I got stopped for speeding and got arrested for DWI. I'm calling from jail"

OK.  Our oldest Grandson and his younger brother went to live with his Mother after our oldest got divorced .  We have had no contact with either one of these kids in 25 years. Why now out of the blue we get a call from "Coleton" in jail in New York needing MONEY.

Wife asks again " What is your name? If I'm going too send you MONEY to get out of jail I need a NAME.  Caller replies "Bobby".   Wife says "Well Bobby. You got the wrong Grandma" and hung up the phone.

Found out later, This is a new SCAM.   Be very cautious if getting calls from one of your "Grandchildren"
