Check your fuel hoses between the diesel pump and the filter on the right side of the engine today. I am told this hose has to handle up to 90 psi at high idle with no load on the engine. The problem is the pressure is built and released several times each second. This hose gets worn in the clamps that hold it and against the engine block. Ours are going to be placed this spring. They look like they could burst any second.
I have gotten new hose at Spencer Diesel in Spencer, Iowa. They have some that are 38" long and ours are 50". I bought bulk hose and will have ends put on.

This stuff is not hydraulic hose. We tried to use one from AGCO. Would have needed to get different fittings and the hose ends made the hose twist about a half a turn when it was plumbed in.

The hose is supposed to be somewhat soft to absorb pulsations of injection, to keep from transmitting to a surge. Not as big an issue as on IH tractors with the M100 pump, but I'm sure it still is an issue. A very rigid hyd hose is just too hard, and can't act as an accumulator like the soft hose can.

If 90psi is all it gets you could use Aeroquip AQP hose. That stuff is tough and rates 200psi.
