Poor fellas here, they see rain every three days. Spoke to one big bottom farmer, he said needs Seven days good sunshine NO rain and MAYBE just MAYBE they can get amendments down and sow some crops.

Walked the darn hay field today still too wet. And my bones tell me its gonna rain tonight. My gals are telling me the same thing. Went to put more feed out for them and they were buzzing around real nasty like this afternoon. I did get more feed out and did not get stung.

We got about 3" of REAL WET HEAVY stuff today.  I think that's the end of it,,,,,,,,for now anyway....anything else is supposed to be rain.

Hey Shameless,,,,,,,,,,,,,,PFfffffffttt....  it's melting anyway....I think......

I think I'm done shoveling for this part of the year.  It'll all melt now, even if it takes a couple a days....

That’s the truth Ted that the cold wind isn’t drying anything.    It was just starting to get dry enough to do something around here and it’s raining again

If I had this dang field worked up I could stand at the end of the field and just toss the seed up in the air and get the whole thing seeded in a few minutes. Talk about an air seeder out there. Man this wind is blowing like crazy. I stepped outside this am to P. Jack Russell was walking sideways just to keep from being blown away. Dang chickens gonna have ta be fed inside the chicken house today.

Things were starting to shape up here.....thinking I could start in the fields.....even yesterday's snow wasn't enough to make a big difference.  But today, raining, tomorrow rain, Sunday and Monday, snow and rain and cold, end of next week, rain for 3 days.  Here we go again.

Our snow here was ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, dirty.  No other way to describe it.  It came down,,,,,,not white, but brownish.  YES,,,,brownish.  I just figured it was from all the junk from the trees.  It was blowing SO hard.
Well come to find out from the weatherman,,,,,,,,,the 'dirt' came all the way from West Texas and New Mexico.  WOW!!
Instead of all the birthday wishes going for Joe, he's sending us his dirt.  Wadda ya think of that!!??

Gosh and it snow Sunday afternoon and night here, was sunny and around 50 yesterday made everything sloppy and back to rain again today. At this rate I’ll be cutting the lawn before getting any seeds in the ground again!

Heard that Kurt, same story here.  We were set to roll this week.  Even Sunday's 7 inches of snow wouldn't have hurt too bad, but the extended forecast?  Rain 8 out of the next 10 days, a lot of it heavy. Friggin' wonderful.
