I have come cacross an inner page of a brochure about the Rumely 6A,sold by Allis-Chalmers. Did they ever paint the tractor orange when A-C was selling them?
Also, does anyone have the brochure and, if so, could you post a copy of the cover?
I am still working on book number 3. If I live long enough, I will get it finished.
This book will cover anything I can find about A-C and all the associated companies
and  will include most anything produced by the company. I plan to include many
more stories about my experiences with Allis-Chalmers. Did you know that A-C even sold a candy puller for pulling taffy? When I was a boy, we saw one at the county fair
every summer and I was fascinated by "Oscar" the chef. Oscar was a little dummy
who appeared to be turning the crank to run the candy puller.

Dean,
Just came across my Allis - ChalmersAgricultural Catalog - 35 today while digging for something else.
It is in mint condition and should scan/copy very well. This is the red cover catalog, inside of front and rear cover is robin egg blue, 80 pages shows everything offered from Tractors with cut-a-ways, all Tillage Equipment, Stationary Power Units, Crawlers, Drills/Planters, big A-C Huller unit, A-C Rumely Threshers, Rumely Prairie Type Combines and Hillside Combine. The 6A is depicted in both steel and air tires.

PM me if interested in borrowing as this may have some tidbits you can use; the plow moldboard and shares section is extensive, even recommending parts for use by specific states.
Tim
