I'd say the NF verses WF value has made a complete switch especially with the bigger tractors.When I was looking for a D15 I found a whole lot more WF than NF tractors around.
BTW if anyone is interested I have a D19 single wheel set up I'd sell and I'll give at least
a 90% discount over that NF(LOL)

The foundry at witchita falls texas has all the patterns im told for weights. They were recasting any weights by the pound

(I was trying to reference skateboarders post) it didnt qoute it

I like narrow fronts if tractor is just a show piece. Takes up less space to store and haul on trailer.

Yes it went for $10k. I stood right behind it and the bidder. I spoke with him when it was all said and done. I won't say where it went out of respect for his privacy but it is staying fairly close. He bought it for his grandson building a 190 puller.
3 WC's, 2 WD's, 3 WD-5's, D-14 w/HenryBackhoe, D-17, 4 D-19's, 185, 190XTsIII, 200, 210, 7010, 10 L&G Allis's. Nunn Better Farms Bleed Orange!!!!!

Yea..some clubs/associations don't allow narrow fronts,,,better check the rules where he is gonna pull

1) was it JUST the 'pedestal' for 10K  ?

2) WHY would the pedestal break/fall off during a tractor pull ?

It was the pedastal, zipper bolster and hydraulic lines needed for the nf application that brought $10000.

Yes but the point is that kinda of weight flying up and slamming down will many times break just about any type of front end, even a narrow front pedestal.

The one I seen was years ago, front end off the ground tractor still going forward with momentum front end came down - snaped it
