WF rear pinion bearing replacement

I need to replace the rear pinion bearing (shown) in one of my WF's. My question is do the final drives have to come off and the axles come out to replace this? Does anyone have any experience changing one of these?

Any and all tips would be greatly appreciated!!!

The bearing should just pull out if it will clear ring gear.                 MACK
