Is it possible on a WD to Add a forward/reverse shuttle?

I have a D14 with 2 spd, just wondering if that could be removed and mated to the WD and then converted to fwd/rev......

anybody got any ideas?

ANYTHING can be done with enough cash! The W tractors only had direct drive with a clutch to disengage the drive. D series had 2 different speeds in the power director  so the low speed could be made into a reverser for the shuttle clutch. Not as simple as it sounds, maybe!

I've heard of the d15's with shuttle reverse and on the forklifts, but always wondered if it was possible to convert one.

Like was said above it is gears in the torque tube. But if you put the forward reverser into a d15 the pto speed is fast. I didn't think it was a big deal when I brush hogged with it but haying it is just too fast for the tedder or baler had to run them about half throttle.

would the 2 speed or the reverser be able to fit into the WD torque housing?
That's the real question....

essentially I have a D14 with blown engine and a Good D14 tractor that I'd like to try to shuttle in..... Just wondering if anyone has done it....

No on the wd torque tube. Has to be d serries but you might be able to swap the motor to the d14. I am not sure if that would fit it not. Best thing would be to find a 149 or 160 gas motor for the d14 or rebuild the one you have.

The only shuttle I've seen on wd are on reversed tractors, they use the pto drop box mated through shaft to another pto drop box but not sure what all other parts need without looking at one again

kinda out of luck I guess. My WD has a loader and just wondering what I could do to make the hand clutch to a shuttle would be nice.

Remove the hyd pump section and add a reverser from a gear drive forklift.
