Don't see it AJ. First guess is the file is too big to upload. Each post will only accept up to 512 KB of pictures.

I installed an app to resize pictures. http://imageresizer.codeplex.com/

You just right click and select a size. It makes a copy with the new size."

How are you doing getting your pictures to post? Here's a 16B we rescued for our collection. It was inoperable at the time,so we took our HD6 with our boom truck and a Cozad trailer to rescue it.
 photo P1010007_zpsde38cc75.jpg
We needed to remove the blade to make it hiway legal so as not to need a wide load permit to save miles of extrra driving photo P1010038_zpscd31b18c.jpg
We disassembled the blade and trunions with the truck and loaded all the already removed parts on the truck and trailer photo P1010034_zpsa6c58bbf.jpg
This is some pretty heavy chunks of iron photo P1010076_zps90bda51f.jpg
We got the Cozad in position and then muscled it around with the HD6 photo P1010088_zpsc664d953.jpg
We left the blade off the HD6 for transportation purpose's, but had it on the truck if we needed it photo P1010109_zpsa3badd1b.jpg
 photo P1010135_zpsbbefad90.jpg
 photo P1010144_zps759b7980.jpg
So this tractor needs a ring and pinion to solve all it's problems. It had a very strenuous life of continues ripping for vineyard preperation in the Napa valley of California. So if any forum members know where a ring and pinion might be found let us know. It's a power shift. photo P1010002_01_zps7dae002e.jpg
So get those new paint job pictures posted for all to see

Great find Mel.  I've always thought the 16-B was a fine lookin' dozer.  Looks like they cut out the cab to make a canopy on that one- you can see the original paint color on dash and battery box...
I've always wanted one of those- I've put it on my Christmas list but so far nothing.

We like the brush rake. Were kinda brush rake guys, done a lot of site prep with are old ACs
Lazyts the canopy was set up for air conditioning and they apparently just kept cutting pieces off until it looked like this. It's listed in our parts book but there are no pics

So do you just leave the rake on all the time, chained up like that?

Andrew, the only time that I take the rake off is when I am working in standing trees because if your not careful when backing up you will catch a tree and break the chains. Woeks very good, can go from pushing dirt to raking in no time, can push the rake over by hand and only need a small loader to flip it back up

I might have to consider this for my HD11!

Cabs were available as "factory option" on all B series, but not built by AC- were built by Industrial Cab Company.  We have one on our 11-B- great for cold and wind but very noisy, as they were not isolated from the tractor at all.

If anyone knows where there is a good ring and pinion for an HD16B powershift, let us know. Part # for pinion is 70653813 / bevel is 70663510 photo P1010038_zpse2dd6c15.jpg
They both need yo be replaced photo P1010039_zpsf2db4000.jpg
 photo P1010036_zpsce355853.jpg
The serial # is photo P1010040_zpsf5016981.jpg
The sooner we find those parts we can get started on a paint job to see if we can keep up with hd16b's paint job (we'll be looking for a bigger brush rake too)

Ok, we're still looking for a ring and pinion for this HD 16 B. I know it's been a while but some one out there might know where one is now.

Sure was green in 2013!  How does it look this year?  What do you think caused the gears to shell out?  Sorry, can't help you with the gears but agree there have to be a set out there somewhere.  As Bill Long says, Good luck!

No, the 16DP powershift is different.

John, The gears went away from a steady diet of ripping.

I take it you already contacted General Gear in Boise. Could try Chartrand Tractor in Redbud IL, do not know if they can do any good for certain but worth a try or they may be able to steer you to a decent yard for parts.

Can try Thill Track and Tractor in Eau Clare WI also - they have been good at finding things
