I see Shameless is asking questions about his CIH so I though I'd ask what you guys think of a Massey 2210 tractor.  Made in Italy by Landini in the early 2000's.  Don't see many on Tractorhouse or other sites.  Looks like a fairly well built 50 HP tractor.  One is coming up for local auction soon, thought it might make a good little chore tractor if the price is right and if it has a good reputation.

They were solid tractors but parts availability can be an issue since it was Manufactured FOR Massey Ferguson.  On top of that it was not a very popular model for MF so I do not have any first hand experience.  As a MF Dealer we have been able to keep customers running with other models that were built for AGCO by going direct to the original builder for parts but does take time.

I looked at it the day before the sale, it wasn't as clean as the pictures but ran ok.  At the auction, prices were high on everything, in spite of the rain coming down.  It went for $12,000 which I thought was plenty and about 4 grand more then I would have paid.
The most interesting item at the sale was a fully restored 1941 Cadillac two door with the big flat head V8.  It looked like it had just came out of the factory and ran well too.  It took a while but the auctioneer finally got $70,000 for it, I wonder if that even covered the restoration cost.  The estate was of a man who's family is reported to have been involved in the Denver Mafia.
