I have a D-15....1961 series I  SN 5227.  Gas.  Gauge appears to show 2438.31 hours...last two digits are in black?  Runs, re-cored radiator, new water pump, new condenser, new points, new voltage regulator.  It comes with a three bottom plow with snap coupler.  and an Allis 3=pt hitch adapter. Engine overhaul a few dozen hours ago.  Used very little for many years Cutting a few acres of grass, plowing/disking a small garden.  Narrow front with car tires on it.  Rears are maybe 75%.  Never jumped out of gear.  Good sheet metal.  Got new tractor w/FEL and need the barn room is the only reason for selling.

Wondering what it's worth and the value of the attachments as well.  Just outside Louisville, KY.  I have owned for ~30 years.

Pictures would be helpful, was a full overhaul done? If not, what was replaced? They are a really good 40 plus hp tractor. Price is dependent on condition.

What was the reason for a engine rebuild with such low hours? In frame rebuild or was the engine pulled out? If I was interested in buying it I would want to know. Do you have both side panels that go below the gas tank?

Has power steering.  I bought 30 years ago.  It did fine until about 2011 then started losing power and would just die like you turned off the key.  Would start and run for 5, 10 minutes before dying again.

Had local tractor mechanic overhaul (have records of his work which included: plugs, dyno run, Head gasket set , valve guides, rear crank seal, piston ring, liner O-ring kit, rod bearing set, gasket set, main bearing, grinding crank).  Worked fine for a year or so and then the problem returned.  I had the generator checked, put the voltage regulator on it, new points and plugs, none of this corrected the problem.  I put it in the barn and bought a Kubota. Couple of years later, I started working through all the things I thought might be the problem.  Found other probs and did the radiator and water pump.

Once I had everything back together, I started it and it ran until I shut it off.  I don't know if I've really fixed the power loss issue though.  I believe it had a timing issue and I think that's fixed but I'm no mechanic.  I may try to plow the garden to see if the power loss is fixed.

I am still not sure what I would ask for it...no one here has suggested an actual price  but those I see on auction sites that are similar (non-show tractors) are in the $1800 to $2400 range.  No one is going to pay what I have invested in it....which is way more than $2400.

I have at least one of the engine side panels....on the steering wheel side.  And as I indicated previously, both the "hoods" are in one of the pics....they are straight.

If no one else will price it, I’ll give it a try. In my area, and tractors go kinda high around here.   I’d say $2500 to $2800. With plow. You can ask whatever you need out of it and always come down if you need it gone. Fresh rebuild, new radiator, ok rear tires and non gear jumper. Also if you have the original Allis 3 point adapter, those things are pricey on their own.
And that price is just what I see around here, prices vary by region.
In this area a series 1 D15 with nice paint and tires in good shape will go $3500 to occasionally $4000. But they usually set for a month or two before being sold.
Good luck with it, and let us know what price you put on it.

Just wanted more info before I could give my opinion on a price. Knowing what we just put into our SeriesII rebuild, that was quite an expensive project. Unfortunately most buyers will appreciate the rebuild but wont cover the cost when they make an offer. IMO $2,500 in its present condition. The market is coming back on older tractors so you may be able to do a little better. They are good tractors.

It sounds like you may have had a fuel issue by your description or a bad coil, condenser. What kind of condition is the tank in? Dirt, rust when a light is shown in the tank? What’s the fuel filter like? Find dirt or rust in it? If it still acts up, put a post on the equipment side so we can help you figure it out.

I have taken the tank off and cleaned it.  The settling bowl shows no problem with debris.  I don't think the fuel line even has a traditional paper/fiber filter built into it.  I have rebuilt the carb at least twice and I don't remember a filter.

I neglected to say that the coil is new when I listed the new points, plugs, and condenser in a previous post.  Coil is new.

My WD was giving me some issues and of all things the brand new rotor was defective. After about 3-5 minutes it would begin to cough and spit.
