Works well to replace generator with Delco 10SI alternator .
Using a single wire hookup it is all self contained and no external regulator is needed .

Do you think the double belt pulley would mount to that shaft or does one go with a single belt.?  Thank You.

The double belt pully on mine fit the Delco alternator that I used. It has been some time since I messed with it, but the mounting was not hard. Mostly getting the tightener to fit.

Pulley interchanges - only thing belt speed with large pulley means you need to rev the engine to get it to excite and charge first time .
I found a 2 belt pulley of a GMC truck alternator double groove that was steel (cast) then put in lathe and machined it to the wider belt size - it was a lot smaller diameter so dont have to do that step of high RPM to get it to charge .
