I have a I-600 and the rear end is going out the trans jumps out of gear  I want to unbolt the tractor from the tourque tube and replace from a donor tractor  which has been done in the past as I have a yellow from half and a orange rear  what donor tractor do I need the d-14 or the d-15?

Either a D14 or D15 will work. I put  a D14 transmission and back on a D15 diesel. One gear part number was different but the D14 part number was upgraded to the D15 number. Simple bolt up.
Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed

Might wanna take the donor apart and replace the brakes while it's easily accessible.

I would take the side cover off the doner and carefully examine the shift collars or you may end up replacing bad parts with more bad parts.
