When there is an unrestricted 2500 pound class, A CA is just about unbeatable when it can run 2nd gear or better. Allis Chalmers engineered their tractors to preform at faster speed than most of the other manufactures.   Years ago I dominated the 2500 pound class until they began to allow an extra 100 pounds,  in reality becoming a 2600 pound class. This allowed the 66 Olivers to make the class and then after introducing a 4MPH speed limit I was done with restricted pulling.
I can still beat anything at 2500 pounds with a CA, When allowed unrestricted ground speed.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

the Louisiana State Fair Shreveport 2020 has been Canceled. NO Show and Pull there in October. My CA sits quietly in the barn gathering dust and bird poop.
