Finally got it to start after suffering through -30 F wind chill for two days.

The undiluted jug of antifreeze I had sitting beside it for top offs was the consistency of a half thawed slushy on Sunday. So it gets a pass for not starting in the subsubzero temps.

My uncle bought this one new and I inherited it when he passed.  I learned to drive on this when I was 5 or 6 years old.  I was running the square baler with it at age 9 since it freed up somebody bigger to load the wagon.

I did the restoration with help from a buddy of mine (he's responsible for the paint).  My original plan was to spend about 4 months on it.  It wound up taking me just under a year and a half and the original budget suffered the same fate as the schedule.

I posted some threads on here when I was doing the work.  I just looked and the threads are still there but the pictures are gone.

Only Allis I have is on tracks so checked starting batteries to ensure fully charged to ensure sub zero cold snap we are entering for the next few days. Topped them up with my 24VDC charger and fully charged so one less thing to be concerned about. Thought about starting engine, but did not. 
A career built on repairing and improving engineering design deficiencies, shortcomings, and failures over 50 years now.

And putting one back in is just as much a PIA. I took it to a machine shop and they even struggled with it. Best of luck to you.

This 200 has refused to start today. It also sits outside. Has been plugged in since last night but the starting system apparently is not up to snuff for this. So far, all of my snow removal equipment has failed me today. Even broke a shovel. Better luck tomorrow

The 200 is sitting just outside of the shed door hooked to the generator. She is plugged in and she sits silently alone, waiting, should the power would go out during the blizzard.

Somebody on here posted about removing the bushings on a wd 45 seat. I was just as ugly for me as it was for him. Need to buy a hydraulic press

Clearing trails thru the pines. Used the D12 and 5’ bush hog to shred branches and bushes after cutting with brush cutting blade on weed eater. Has to be done every few years or the trail will become impassable. Might try to find a herbicide to use this year. About 2 hours on the weed eater is all I want for a day.

Fed cattle.  Changed oil and filter.  Checked all fluids and tire pressures.  Cleaned fuel filter screen and bowl. Serviced oil bath air cleaner.  Checked battery water.

I removed two more brake pins from a parts WD. Added those pins to my bin of 20 plus pins. Anyone need brake shoes? I have a shelf full of them. The pins are for sale also.

Pulled the new to me 9 shank disc chisel with the 7040. Was only running about 8" deep cuz the duals are not on and these tires ain't that good. Plus it's kinda wet out there. A little late in the year perhaps but only just got the corn done last weekend. No frost yet

We have 190XT, 6080 and 7030 Allis Chalmers. That we used to farm with. We everything from plow, disc, brush hog, mower hay, rake, bale hay. Use them like they did 30 years ago.

I loaded the WD45 on a rented trailer and took it to Owosso Tractor Parts for and engine refresh (i.e. in frame rebuild). This should be a once in a lifetime rebuild. I should get it back on the 15th. They are also going to do a full tune up and rebuild the carburetor.  It should be running great when I pick it up.

Allis folks,
 Goth the rebuilt seat on the D14 snow plow unit. I realized someone had welded one of seat pivot points. But it was in the slightly wrong position. So cut it off, re positioned and welded it back on. These are somewhat complex seats. This one needs rebuilt and new bushings at most of the joints.
We have a dusting of snow.

Okay, it was yesterday but..
Finally got to pick some corn. The 170 is in auger duty, 7045 and 200 pulling wagons and I'm pretty happy with how the M3 settings are
