Was a at a cattlemen's meeting yesterday. One of the few wholesale/farm delivery fuel distributers we have left stopped to say hello.Wink Because my cousin I was talking to is a more BTO. Anyway his comment, got to work before 8 am and fuel was down 16 cents, but by 4 pm it had gone up 20 cents. I realize at the gas station it generally stays the same price until a tanker load of fuel/gas is gone. But when they call and find out the next load will be up, they have been known to raise the price before they feel the pain.

I am sure glad your so plugged in to what is going on in the world. I just quoted what a wholesaler of oil products had to say about the prices he pays. Wink And I would wager he buys more dollar worth of oil products in one day than you make in 10 years.

LOL And no where did I complain about the price of gas in the above post. Talked to my fuel supplier last week, he had 6000 gallons of dyed diesel that wasn't contracted yet at $2.75, needless to say I took it all!  I hope to have enough now for the farm needs.  Road fuel is a different story.Ouch

Wink Steve, Steve your a getting it political over here. LOL Your going to get 4700er upset.WinkLOLLOLLOL

On a more Angry.  How long does it take oil to make it down the pipeline into our gas tank? Also what percent of crud is contract priced, rather than all being traded on the  board of trade live trading which is a by the minute price.  Confused  I guess I could try that "web search thing" but the price crud the "news" reports is a futures price correct .  But wanting a freebee.LOLLOLLOL  But then I don't trust that computer info Wink until you deplorable red necks verify.LOL

Wink So me thinks they jumped the price faster than they needed to keep up with crud price.

Wink I guess we should just be glad the oil companies don't use "low information voter" math. LOL You double the price of crud so gas doubles. Which thankfully gas has not gone up the same percent as crud. At least so far.

Clap WOO HOO Tad and I are not in the county with the highest gas prices in the nation today.OuchCry But just because there are greedier people in other areas. Yep filled up for $5.10 yesterday. Confused   But I am doing my part to help your world with the Caly $1.50 or there abouts of "CARBON TAX" .AngryAngryAngryAngryAngryAngry So see my cleaner burning gas is not that much more than the rest of the USA.
