Got a 8010 powershift with a westendorf loader. The loader is controlled with the remotes now but want to put a joystick on it to run loader. Does anyone know where to get a complete kit or how to piece one together ? Would need valve , joystick, cables and adapters to plumb into hyd system. Is it a pfc or closed center hyd system?
Thanks

It is a closed center load sensing system. It would require a closed center load sense valve tee'd into the system. The load sense port is required to actuate the pump high pressure.
Surplus Center has a valve. It's not cheap, $570. The joystick controller and cables adds about $300.
A selector valve for the remotes would be cheaper.

I have one in an 8050. I bought it through westendorf (work for a dealer) it does not include hoses and was $2600 several years ago. A lot of work to install but worth it once it's in.

The closed center load sense valve and joystick controller are listed separately. Do a search for "load sense" and "joystick".
The valve is a Prince 20 series
The cables and connections are also separate.
The controller is 9-6704-J

so why couldn't you just get a joy stick controller and proper length cables and use the existing factory valves unless you are trying to add more outlets to the system.

The pressure line is the one with the hose going from the pump to the remote/lift valve. You can tee in there. A 3/4 JIC swivel run tee will make it easier.
The sense line is the 1/4 tube running from the pump to the valve. A JIC swivel run tee here. Easier to install at the valve end.
The return is a tube from the valve to the reservoir. I think it is 1 in.

That's the valve. I would get the one with the float position, especially for a loader.

I would like to get one of these,,will the joy stick and cables mount to that 9-20-2-LS? I have joystick and cables,,, when I got the 8010 with a westendorf loader, it had this on it, but the wrong valve, so,,, I took it off and just run loader to the rear remotes...I found out its not good to "deadhead" the load sense pump with a closed center valve,, but it may been a open center...I'm not sure, but it's non been there for a long time....

Any ideas on teeing into the return side of the system? The pressure and load sense are easy since they are hoses but not sure how to tie into the return since it’s a steel tube? Is there another place I could return the oil?

I've never done this, but have always felt you could remove the endplate on the hydraulic valve stack, drill and tap a hole that lined up with the return passage. Could also remove the cover plate under the PTO gears and drill/tap a hole in there as well, although it would need to be kept up tight to avoid hitting a rock rolling by.

Ok . I’d rather not drill and tap if possible but will if I have to. there is a line on the front side of the right hand filter that goes forward possibly to oil cooler?
Would it be ok to plumb in the rear there?
The return tube from the remotes comes in on the rear side of the right hand filter..

The return tube from the remotes comes in on the rear side of the right hand filter..
The line going forward is the pump suction. The one on the top is the return from the valves.
