 Topic: Snap ring pliers

I have 3 sets of snap ring pliers but they are all for snap rings with holes . Did a search but didn't see any that looked like they would work on my D 15 . Is there such a thing ? Maybe they're like the elusive 25/32 socket ? Thanks

Are these the type pliers you are looking for? They're the kind with two sort of paddles that go in the gap on the lock ring (the kind with no holes or tabs, as you say,) to force it open. Pictures, answers, and comments towards bottom of page.

I restored a d 15 II. Have a pair like Charlie posted. Musta been for using on the Allis.

20mm is really really close and only 2-3 canucks..... I didn't even look at the price, yikes !! you could cut some shim stock and use a 13/16 socket...

used on Chevy PU's to hold springs on....
6 pcs of 15 thou shim stock in a 13/16 socket should be close.... Jay

Always bought Craftsman, Wards or Western Auto as they were guaranteed and we broke a lot of then before getting good wheel wrenches

My Dad's been gone a few years but I think his tools are still around . Next time I'm at the home place I'll see if there's a 25/32 socket in his old box . Ideally a 6 point 1/2" drive . Thanks
