If that's the number, stamped in the plate, RS rail, as you step into the operators station. then its a 1965.  If its a casting # in a piece of cast iron, look and find the tag on the rail.Wink

It was on the plate on the rail.
I thought it was in the 60's.
Thanks

Has it got an 8 inch round; or, an 8 inch square beam? ( main beam from the platform out to the front axle ).    Ross.

Hi.
I do not have my serial # list with me. (currently in FL.).
The 8" sq. frame came in 1961, and this D series continued until 1971. You likely have a 262 Buda engine.
   Do you have hydraulic brakes?
Do you have the drop-down aux. gear box? (L.H. side of the seat).

Here is a picture of my 1967 'D Special' grader (C3634 ser.#) with Calvin Schmidt operating it.

   Ross.

Good news is, on this grader is that Fiat continued this popular grader, in their buyout, and someone else bought it after.  May still be in production, somewhere, today, though I don't know for sure, and don't remember all the names of the companies, involved...Cry

According to what I read in Norm Swinford's Const. book, it appears that it would be a 1969 model. Please post some pictures.    Ross.
