    Posted: 24 Aug 2016 at 11:35am
I was asked last winter about restoring this little Farm Hand mower.  I was able to get started on it finally in about April.  It didn't need much body work, just clean up and repaint.  The owner had the engine reringed so there was not really any mechanical work to do to it.  Its a cute little bugger.  Apparently there are only 11 of these known to exist.  He and two of his buddies each have one.

You did an outstanding job on that. Looks great! Did it originally have a cover for the battery or was it always exposed?

Looks nice! It looks like a Jacobsen built machine. Had one growing up identical to it cept the fenders.

That is nice. Do you have the mower deck for it?

The owner is having a new battery cover made. He also does have a deck for it. Yes it is a Jacobson made mower.
