I just started fooling with the 39 b I just got Friday. While I was trying to get it up on TDC I noticed that it doesn't have the oil line that runs out top of the governor housing. I went and looked at my other b to make sure and sure enough it doesn't have the line that comes out of the governor and goes to the head. I was just wondering if this was normal? It looks like it factory but I just want to make sure. Thanks Wil
P.s. it dose have an oil line from the oil pump to the head but not the one from the head to the governor housing. I know a pic would be better but it was already dark, maybe my explanation will be enough.

early models did not have lube to the governor cover.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

My 39 doesn't have the oil line either. Asked the same question.
Everything is impossible until someone does it! WD45-trip loader 1947 c w/woods belly mower, 1939 B, #3 sickle mower 1944 B, 2 1948 G's. Misc other equipment that my wife calls JUNK!
