    Posted: 10 Aug 2012 at 10:07am
I have a AC Allis Chalmers dealer sign that I would like to sell. It is from the late 1970s or early 1980s 3 feet by 12 feet , lighted and one sided. I have an interested buyer but I don't have any idea on a fair price. I realize that you don't see these for sale often but I want to be fair on an asking price.  Thanks for any information.

Pictures would be nice, but from what I have seen on here for one two sided go in th e5K range, so one sided, maybe half that, but until we see condition, and what the content of the sign is, it's hard to tell.

I would be interested in your sign also. But im not sure what they are worth. I guess does it work and condition is a big factor.

It's hard to put a price on something that someone else is selling .I understand you are looking for a fair market price .I have had and sold many of these type's of sign's .
One sided , (only you know condition) I would say from $1000.oo to $2500.oo .Depeding on a lot of factor's .MHO

I guess I would say the condition of the sign  appearance wise is good for something that was been out in the Iowa weather for 30 plus years. But I just plugged it in and the ballast buzzes but the lights don't come on.

Pics would be nice. Does it have the old AC Logo or New Logo. I think 1 to 2 k would be a good asking price since they are very rare and very collectible.
