Just got done finishing overhauling our 7050 and warmed it up to retorque the head and adjust valves. When we took the valve cover off we noticed that there was oil on the pushrod side of the rocker arms but nothing on the valve side. This is our first 7000 series allis so was wondering if this was normal or what could be wrong

It's fine. Run it wide open with the oil HOT and see what a mess it makes.

We ran it around 45 min to 1 hour up and down the road widen open at times. I was just surprised the valves were still dry

I always mash the return tube about 90% closed when the valve cover is off. Stops the gaulding of rocker arms. MACk

Wow! Great to hear it runs again! It can take a while for the oil to reach all areas under the valve cover.
