Picked up a 7045, 20 speed power director transmission. Everything on tractor operates great hot or cold; steering, lift arms, remotes. Oil levels are correct, Agco oil. Meter read 10k hours, not sure of accuracy.
Clutch cable is in good shape and adjusted correctly.
On a cold start, the clutch brake works great, shift to your heart's content.
Once everything warms up clutch brake does not appear to apply, transmission just grinds. Doesn't matter if you let it sit with clutch pedal down, tranny never stops spinning.

I am thinking a pressure issue once warm... maybe worn valve or brake pad itself(never seen a worn brakepad)? Any thoughts appreciated!

Take all slack out of cable, replace busing, pivot pin, and make sure there is not too much pad under floor mat at pedal.       MACK

Thanks Mack, I will check the pin and bushings. Cable is tight and there is nothing on the floor but steel currently.

Power Director transmission ??   Zero free-play in the clutch pedal with the engine off. Adjust clutch cable to adjust this.  The brass bushings on the clutch valve fork must be in good condition. They are usually broken, causing too much clutch pedal free-play. Oil everything in that area when done.

Thank, I’m still working on removing parts. I notice my one eyelet is in bad shape. I’ll check the bushings
