Hey guys, New here and I have a near basket case Buda diesel. I don't have any manuals yet.

My valves were loose, and not torqued down. I simply set them to let "exhaust wiggle more than intake". But was wondering if anyone has the actual specification.

Per Allis Chalmers Shop Manual:

Valve Tappet Gap, Inlet.....      0.010 Hot
Valve Tappet Gap, Exhaust....  0.019 Hot

Well it's actually a Buda generator (2bdg77). If anyone has info on these pumps, please feel free to share!!!!

They are inline Bosch pumps. The camera-phone is older than the engine lol

Note: missing linkage from injection pump (rail?) And fuel return lines are missing.
I have yet to find any info on this fuel system other than they are Bosch "bryce style" fuel pumps.
