Does anyone know a good source of nylon bushings or bushings made from a similar material? Specifically I need a bushing with a 1 1/4 inch outside diameter and a 7/8 inside diameter.

If you have a wood lathe, you can turn them from just about any nylon stock.  I needed some bearings for the castor wheel on the front of my zero-turn mower, had some 1 X 6 black nylon boards I picked up from craig's list real cheap, so as a temporary measure, I turned some 1/2" ID X 1-1/2 OD bushings with a skew chisel, real quick on a Sunday mornin, and them things are still on the mower.  Once the nylon gets loose and sloppy I'll put the right parts into it, but I'm cheap, and can wait...Wink
